Some of the tools you could use to do this
job. You will also need a drill.

The idea of this job is to remove all of the
rubber inside of the mount.

You NEED to drill the mount first before
doing anything else to it. There is fluid
inside the rubber that you need to drain.

DRAIN THE FLUID FIRST!

One way to remove the rubber is to just drill
alot of holes in the rubber and pull it all out
with vise grip pliers.

Another aid is to use a small narrow saw.

On mine, I used a torch to heat the rubber
until it pushed out.
This is what the stock mount looks like with the rubber gone.
There is a metal inner piece
that needs to be removed.
This is the inner metal piece
removed.

Clean up the inner part of the mount with solvent, or a spray
cleaner like brake cleaner, and
a rag.

You are now ready to add the new mount.
