IMPORTANT NOTES:
For lack of better terms, we are calling the
two round bushing styles "early" and "late" styles.
There seems to be a cross over in the years.
The bushing styles will not interchange
between cars, as the brackets are different.
The later bracket is larger and wider.
Early Style #1027
This is the stock bracket and bushing
on the earlier rear axle. It is a round bushing.
There are two types of round bushings.
If yours looks like this, this "early" kit will fit
your car. It measures (blue arrow) approx. 2-7/16"
outside to outside of bracket.
This fits 1984 to about 1989.
(As far as we can find out)
Late Style #1036
This late style bushing has rubber bulging
out both ends, as shown by the red arrows.
It is a round bushing also.
There are two types of round bushings.
If yours looks like this, this "late" kit will fit
your car. It measures (blue arrow) approx. 3"
outside to outside of bracket
This style started in about 1988.
