Polyurethane Front Control Arm Bushings
for Front Wheel Drive Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth
cars of 1989 and some 1990. Those that are NOT cast
and DO have duel swivel bushings, not strut rod style
like the earlier FWD Mopar cars of the 80's.

EIGHTEEN:
Another photo showing which way the rear
bushings correctly goes into the a-arm.
Red arrow shows the wider flange toward
the rear.
NINETEEN:
Lube the inside of the bushings
and the outer area of the steel
inner sleeves.
Gloves recommended.
TWENTY:
Four sleeves are included in the kit.
Two long, two short. The short ones
are used in the rear bushings (shown).

The long ones are used in the front
bushing as shown in step 22.
TWENTY ONE:
After adding lube, push the inner sleeves
into the bushings. Use this special green
lube only!
TWENTY TWO:
After installing the inner sleeves,
lube the outside ends of all the
bushings as shown here.
TWENTY THREE:
Reinstall the a-arms into the k-frame.
Install the new bolts using the flat washers
and locking nuts supplied in the kit.
Bolts go from front to back.
Use a 22mm (or 7/8”) wrench and
socket to tighten.
TWENTY FOUR:
The next steps are to bolt the a-arms
to hub/spindles and to re-attach the
anti-sway bar. Inspect the bar’s
bushings and replace or lube as necessary.
The green lube with the kit is great to use
for the swaybar bushings.
